Eclectic is a town in Elmore County, Alabama, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 1,001. It is part of the Montgomery Metropolitan Statistical Area. ==History== Eclectic was founded by Dr. M. L. Fielder, a practitioner of eclectic medicine, hence the name.
